DESIGNING, CREATING, AND WEDDING MAGIC

DESIGNING, CREATING, AND WEDDING MAGIC

Hi everyone! Wow, what a busy few months it’s been and then throw Christmas, New Year and holidays into the mix!!! Time has flown, and I’ve been so immersed in designing that my poor blog has taken a bit of a backseat. But I’m here now, ready to share what I’ve been up to and give you a little behind-the-scenes peek into my creative world.

WEDDING PRINT DESIGNS: A LABOR OF LOVE

Weddings are such a special occasion, and being part of the process through design is something I absolutely love. From invitations that set the perfect tone to on-the-day stationery like table plans and menus, every piece has its own story to tell. Recently, I’ve been pushing my creative boundaries by adding new elements to my designs. I’ve been experimenting with oil paint textures in Photoshop to create a rich, layered feel—imagine soft brush strokes and vibrant colours adding depth to the prints. It’s been exciting to bring something a little different to the table, giving each piece a unique and artistic flair.

MIXING TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL

One of my favourite parts of this process has been blending traditional art techniques with digital tools like Photoshop. Oil paint textures meet clean, modern layouts, and the result feels fresh yet timeless. This mix of mediums allows for so much flexibility and customisation, which is perfect when designing for something as personal as a wedding.

BUSY & INSPIRED

Between balancing client projects and experimenting with new ideas, it’s been non-stop creativity around here. It’s that kind of busy-ness that’s both challenging and inspiring - the kind that keeps you on your toes but leaves you excited about what you’re creating.

And now that I’ve got a bit of breathing room, I’m looking forward to sharing more of what I’ve been working on through this blog.

Thanks for catching up with me, and stay tuned for more soon!
